Patrizio visits the Sestri Ponente section of the Naval League, where he is welcomed and shown round by members. This branch of the Italian Naval League is the biggest in Italy regarding number of boats and fully realizes the social aspect of the navy, providing services and support for its members. Joining is simple, you just have to be introduced by two other members as guarantors, but without other further formalities or complications.

The member of the Naval League is above all a person that loves sailing and the sea, who likes personally overseeing the maintenance of their boat, possibly doing some aquatic sports and above all talking about all this with other enthusiasts. The League satisfies all these demands: it makes available a travel lift to raise boats up to 25 tons and to sort out what there is to sort out, it entertains groups and organizes courses for all nautical sports (scuba diving, sailing, boating ...), provides bars, restaurants and gyms to share the experience with others ... Everyone can express their own interests, also with personal initiatives, for the purpose of divulging the idea of accessible and democratic sailing. For this reason branches of the Naval League also exist in the mountains, in Bolzano for instance, because the common denominator is loving the sea!
