The harbour tourist in Savona is a true “little jewel” that enchants and surprises sailors passing through! The harbour has a very old history, in the Middle Ages – in about 1200 – it was a very important commercial harbour with a lot of trade, “the wood quay.” This was the case until the rivalry with Genoa, a rich maritime republic that didn’t like the expansion of another pole of maritime trade, culminated in a true invasion ... The Genoese silted up the harbour, thus preventing boats from coming in, knocked down all the towers and built the turret with the coat-of-arms of Genoa that is still there today, to confirm their authority.
Today Savona harbour tourist is a well protected and equipped harbour. There is no storm that can worry anyone sheltered inside the dock, and to reach the city centre you just gave to cross a bridge! At some points on the quay the granite stones of the old harbour medieval going back to the 13th century have remained intact. There are only 134 boat places, so if you want to stop there don’t forget to book first by phone! Once you have berthed the harbour provides all services required (technical support, water and electricity, toilet, etc.) and around it is full of shops and bars to satisfy the most disparate demands.
For these and for a thousand other reasons that we invite you to discover for yourself, strangers calling in can only exclaim “Wunderbar!”

- Financial services - ATM
- Health transport
- Maritime bureaucratic services
- Laundromat
